Renwoxing Uukausi sitten
Really funny and coincidental because before you mentioned the ticket with all the games in it. I was thinking about the exact same thing we have here in Canada and I was thinking back and thought that wasn't all that official and legit because it was printed on cheap ass cardboard type paper. Now od course it was lefit and legal. Just not backed by some mega multinational gambling corporation!
Renwoxing Uukausi sitten
P.s it was also Italian "gangsters" that came up here to help the Native Americans open up the casinos(some for sure at least), and I know this from a source that makes me pretty confident in to info! Edit: who knows maybe they were the ones who started the ticket here too!

I knew a band that worked for a bookie in the 80's. He backed an album they recorded with me. He moved from NY to San Fran in the 80's. He got wiped out. I never realized the spread was set to get even action on both sides of the bet, then they would keep the vig. When he moved to San Fran in the Montana 80's. Everybody bet on the 49ers no even action. He got wiped out. I also had a gym teacher in the 70's that taught some class and passed out tickets.

You explained " the ticket " very well . I'm 30 now but as a teenager I used to play and it was exactly how you mentioned. Such a sucker bet betting more then 3 teams , even 3 teams is sooo hard to get all wins especially when you account for the point spread. I think I had a 20 % win / loss ratio.

I thought whoever bet on the favorite pays the vig NOT both bettors pay the vig. Otherwise, no one would bet on the underdog if the bettors pay a big on the underdog!

I am absolutely In love with your story telling. Sport Betting works similarly in Europe, except the website or the the betting house don't give the VIG back to either of the parties. However they have an algorithm that updates the odds all the time, so if a team was not favorable it might had odds of 40 for example, if you bet a dollar you get a credit of 40 dollars if you win, of course if you cash that money you won 39 minus the vig, which the call "betting fee". They have also rules that for example only the results before overtime count and all that to keep them always favorable. I hope this information is helpful to whoever reads it and wish you all a great day

In the UK its done differently and much sneakier and smarter. They charge you £100 for a £100 bet. You dont pay extra BUT the payout odds are always less than 50/50 so 2 teams with equal chance playing each other would return £180 on a £100 bet.

So Larry, what happened when the rival team was heavily disfavoured? Like, let's say the Patriots have been crushing it, and the Seahwaks ain't looking too sharp, QB is injured, whatever. Do they still take the 50/50 odds? That sounds like a risky move.

I couldn’t agree with you more Larry about the parlay tickets being a scam/great hustle as I learned about them on the “other side of the fence” I did state time and my celly had the weed hustle so Penitentiary rich and he ran tickets and I wrote them out for him. My pay was a free play and they are next to impossible to hit we just did a four pick 10 to 1 odds and when I got out as a plumber I wrote them out just like I did on the inside and I passed him around on the job and they were and are so popular because they seem so easy in my selling point was I was like hey five dollars and you win 50 ( really $45)and it’s worth $5 just to make your football games that much for entertaining so it’s win win and a realistic number would be that I’d get hit somewhere around let’s say 70 to 1. I do appreciate your stories as it brings back a lot of memories hardheaded I am so I did state time in two different states in Juvie time AKA gladiator school for real when I got to my first prison it was like cakewalk and people will argue that there is no such thing as a good prison they don’t know what they’re talking about there is such a thing as a good prison. In one of the states we got state pay minimum-wage was $1.25 a day, you’re allowed to have your own personal hot pot TV even smoke outdoors as Cigarettes was the money there packs a pack was 2.50 just like you were saying if you owe somebody $50 that’s 2 boxes 20 packs there was even access the microwaves it was a freaking ice machine and they had control movement five minutes and 35 minutes after the hour you can go wherever you were allowed due to what dorm a.k.a. color was on your ID . The other state was basically a big county jail you were just in a dorm barracks you were told when they go to eat when they go to the yard window everything yeah the prison if you didn’t get your butt to the chow hall when it’s your dorm North south east west was then you didn’t eat

You dont believe in bad people, only bad choices? Well what would you call a person who consistently makes bad choices? Someone who doesnt feel any remorse or regret at all about the bad decisions they make? There definitely ARE bad people. I've met them, and I KNOW you've met them. That doesnt mean that there isnt anything at all redeemable about them or that they cant change, but you cant ignore the fact that they exist.

man this takes me back to when I was a kid. My mother would deal with bookies and guys selling stuff that "fell off the back of the truck" that they "found" all some 30 odd years ago. just thinking about it gives me a feeling of nostalgia. I remember even helping my mom and her friends clean and paint the pub she hung out at. Good times. They had a nice pool table in the back and he even ran an arcade next door for a while till it got to be too much trouble to keep it working with all the mooks breaking the machines.

Roleplay Rogue
Roleplay Rogue 5 kuukautta sitten
Who said the drug dealer was rich? Maybe he was flipping 8ths, quarters; had a network and wanting to expand to deal pounds of keys. The more you buy, the cheaper it gets. That's how drugs work. So if I'm a 2 bit dealer who's making ok money; i could expand if i was willing to get a loan.
